Monday 11th June

We had a work shop ; I did not know what it was about until I saw the police then I thought I need to be sensible. We all sat down and we were told a true story. We were not allowed to know the punishment because it was extremely private and its illegal to share it. It all started when some friends were playing a game called ‘Fortnite.’ They were being mean to a kid called Lleon.  Another child joined the school snapchat group and called himself  redpirateo8. No one knew who he was. He dared Lleon to go in to a haunted house and spray a red smiley face. He did and got very hurt.

There were 4 suspects who were playing ‘Fortnite’ with Lleon. The 4 suspects were:
James, George and Megan. James was found guilty at the trial. The jury voted that he was. I was the lawyer/solicitor and I voted he was not guilty.

Monday 11th June

We had a work shop. I did not really know what it was about until we started. We all went in the hall and sat down in rows.

We were told a true story (some parts we could not know because it was private). At the start Lleon was playing the new game ‘Fortnight’ and his friends were being horrible to him because he was not very good at the game.

One of his friends made a snapchat account and friended him. Lleon didn’t know who he was but accepted anyway. This ‘friend’  told Lleon secrets and Lleon told one of his secrets to him. But then redpirate08 dared him to go in the haunted looking house or he would tell everyone his secret!

So Lleon went to the house with red spray paint and drew a smiley face. The floor was so rotted that he fell through three storeys and went to hospital.

At the end we found out his friend James was redpirate08 and he got in trouble.

Yesterday afternoon five people came in.  Three of them were from Theatr Clwyd and the other two were from the police to do a workshop. The workshop was based on a true story about a eleven year old boy called Lleon. He ended up in hospital because of a boy a year younger than him.

It was great. We got to question witnesses who saw Lleon going into a ‘haunted’ house and paint a red smiley face on the inside of the building. He fell through 3 floors!

A few minutes later three emergency services arrived: ambulance, fire brigade and the police. All this happened because of one person.

This person also made Lleon do other crazy things like: let cows loose in town, vandalise ancient artefacts and steal a phone.

It was all because of a simple game of ‘Fortnite.’ You wouldn’t think this would happen would you?

When three people from Theatr Clwyd came to do a work shop yesterday they told us a true story. Two police officers played along and asked us what a police cell looked like. I got it all right because my step dad is a police officer. The man said I cheated! I started to giggle a little.

They told us the story about a boy called Lleon who fell through three storeys of an old abandoned house. Paramedics came; the ambulance; came the police came and the fire brigade came!

At the end we all took a group photo. It was a good experience.

Monday 11th June 2018
Yesterday, some people from Theatr Clwyd came into our school to talk about this boy that was in a situation with username red.pirate08.

red.pirate08 said, ” If you don’t tell me all of your secrets I will tell your friends them!!!!”
The boy was called Lleon. He was getting very stressed out with red.pirate08 so he started doing things similar to red.pirate08
Lleon was getting up to lots of mischief. He went in to a haunted house and broke the windows. He went to the 3rd floor and spray painted a red smiley face. He didn’t notice the floor had rotted and he fell through 3 floors!He was really hurt and had to go to the hospital!!!
Later they found out that Jamie (Lleon’s friend) was red.piarate08 !! Jamie’s mum and dad were very shocked with him. Jamie had to go to court and was found guilty!!!

We did a workshop about a boy who was playing ‘Fortnite’.

He was playing with his friends. He was bad at it and he died all the time! His friend kept reviving him until one of his friends said, “Do not revive him.”

While he waited for the next round and he went to a house and he sprayed red smiley faces on the windows.  He fell down and went to hospital. Then the Police asked him questions.

Tuesday 12th June 2018
St. Richard Gwyn
I went to St.Richard Gwyn High School yesterday and it was really fun. This is what happened:
My Dad and Maxx and My Gran and I were travelling to Flint but we got there a bit early so we went to MacDonald’s for breakfast. It was 8:25 when we left.

When I got to the High School I walked and saw two other boys called Thomas and Steven. We sat down for a bit to wait for the others. Then our head of year walked past and said, ” Five minutes and I’ll be with you.”

Just as Grace and Finlay come through the head of the year said, “Right come on then.” We went to the the games room F3 and we talked about what to take to school and what we were looking forward to at High School. Then we went on a Fantastic Tour.

There were 4 Year 9 pupils. One was called Isaac, one was called Joe and one was called Nicole. I have forgotten the last one. My favourite was Isaac because he was hilarious.

I saw the headmaster walk past. The school is based on a cross. We learned what MFL means; Modern Foreign Language. Then we travelled back to the games room to rest. We went to get our bags to go to break. We played running races until the bell went.

We had Theatr Clwyd come in and show us what can happen if we mess around online.

We were told a story and all the things that happened in the story were true. It was about a boy called Lleon who fell through 3 storeys when he went in to an abandoned house.

We got to interview some of his friends. First we met Megan. We asked her some questions like: How does Lleon behave in school? Has anything been happening lately? She said that Lleon had added a stranger on to the school snapchat group called REDPIRATE08.

We then interviewed George then Jamie. Jamie said he had never ever heard about REDPIRATE08 but that he always posts things on the group.

We got to see some of the stuff that was in jail like the unrippable duvet. They said that if we ripped it they would give us £100 for an end of term PARTY! But as the name suggests it’s an unrippable duvet so we didn’t rip it:(.

We got to experience what it was like in court but because Jamie was only 10 the Jury was called the Judges. Jamie had been accused of being REDPIRTE08 because he was logged in as it on his phone and his computer. The Head Judge was Daisy, LW Judge was Josh and the RW judge was Me.

This taught me that we should not mess around on online.

Some people from Theatr Clwyd came into our school and talked about  This is the story:

A boy called Llon was on a game called fortnight and his friends were playing with him. One of his friends said a mean word. Llon added a person called red.pirate08 and red.pirate08 said to Llon if you don’t tell my secret, I won’t tell everyone that your mum is in prison.

BUT red .pirate08 was one of his friends called Jamie! Jamie got arrested for telling Llon to do bad things.

Tuesday 12th June
Yesterday I went to St. Richard Gwyn. Grace went in my car so we could go together. We were a bit scared at first but then when we got to Reception we saw Tom.  There were other children from other schools like St. Mary’s there. The head of our year led us to his classroom and we got to meet everybody and what there names were. There were 31 children including me, Grace and Tom. I made friends with most of them and we chatted together.
