Freya

Today we went to Prestatyn high we had to get in to school before  8:30. I rushed and ended up in school at 8 o’clock. Then we ordered our dinner, went on RM math and got on the bus and got there.

Today year 5 went to Presteyan  high to do  some ICT (that means computer work). The teacher was called Miss Robinson and she was so kind. We did animation on the computer and it was fun because we got to put stuff in. I had a rat and a hedgehog and it turned out well.

Today year 5 went to Prestatyn high school to do some ICT.
We made some animations. They were great!!!!
We started by putting blue  on a large logo (for the sky) then we put green in a half a page and added images then we made them move!!!!
it was so fun 🙂

Monday 6th March 2017

On 6th MarchYr 5 went Prestatyn high school to do some ICT work on the computers. We were going to go on hour of code but we couldn’t because it had smooth-wall on it so we did an animation.

So the first thing I did was get to school and it just seemed like a normal day at school but only it was the EISTEDDFOD I didn’t worry too much but I could tell Cerys was, we both had butterflies in our tummies and almost chewed our finger to the bone. No only joking. As soon as Miss Fisher said its time to go in to the hall I was wanting to shout in Cerys’s face but I didn’t because I was that scared.
So when we went in I was comfortable in the seating plan and was fine with that.
We were all waiting for Mrs Johnson ( the judge ) until …… She walked through the door And Dosbarth Derbyn sang a little song and then Mr Williams gave a little bit of an introduction.

Yesterday Trelawnyd VA school had their Eisteddfod and it was like a real show because we felt like the crowd. Everyone was excellent and we sang ‘Cysgu draw’ and ‘C^an Joseff’ and ‘Mae hen wlad fy nhadau’. And it was so cool.
We said ‘Cysgu draw’ as a solo and we sang ‘C^an Joseff’ with a group: me, Tom and Charlie.
At the end we sang the welsh national anthem and it was so good. We did a handwriting competition and a drawing competition.
After break there were Tales from Wales, and they told us 3 good tales and 1 of them was true. The best part was when we got to take part in it as well and it was the funniest when the french soldiers came. They were so funny! The man opened the box and there was half a map. He held it and it went up into flames! It was so cool.
Some people got 3 certificates and they were obviously amazing. The pepole were so funny and they were good at singing and they said we were the best school that they went to today. They were kind. After the tales of wales we had bara brith.

Yesterday it was an Eisteddfod and we sang to Year 34 then year 3 and 4 sang to year 5 and 6. Then a boy and girl came. They were proud of all of the Children in the School. And everyone was amazed of the boy and fire.

The reason why we went into the hall was because Miss Parsons paid for some people to come in and tells us stories. They were called the tales of Wales. The man in tales of wales was very funny!!! Miss Parsons said that when she was up stairs all she could hear was screaming so she thought what on earth is going on! So she came down stairs and found that Lorcan and Leon were chasing people. When the tales of Wales finished we went back into our classroom and we found out who won the poem and the songs. So in singing my group (Freya, Mia,Grace) came 1st, Jessica’s group came 2nd and Alex came 3rd.

In the morning on Wednesday 1st of March (St.David’s Day) we had an eisteddfod in school. It’s where you have to sing. We sang ‘Cân Joseff’ and said ‘Cysgu draw’ and ‘Mae hen wlad fy nhadau’.
I was in a group with Ben and Charlie to sing. I did ‘Cysgu draw’ on my own.
Then we sat down to listen to the rest of the school.
Miss Fisher said 1 2 3 in welsh then we sang ‘Mae hen wlad fy nhadau.’ Me, Flynn, Lorcan, Leon, Harvey and Madison huddled together in a row.
After that they did awards for the neatest handwriting. I don’t know what place I came but after that we had lunch.
I had packed lunch tuna. I love tuna 🙂
We went out side for a little break. When I got in, everyone said to look in the hall. I was like; what? Is my dad there or something? But the Tales of wales had flags attached to the wall. They said we will tell you 3 stories and 1 of them chose my brother, Maxx, to be a dad in one of the stories. The mum was Madison.
After the tales of wales we went into class to have some bara brith. I didn’t want any because I don’t like it.

On Wednesday the whole school was at the Eisteddfod. I was at the back listening to YR6 say ‘Cysgu draw’ and then we said it. Then yrs 3\4 and 1\2 and dosbarch derbyn.
Then we sang ‘Cân Joseff’ and yr 3\4 sang ‘Brwysia’ and reception sang ‘Pump bloc melyn’.
After the Eisteddfod we all sang ‘Mae hen wlad fy nhadadau’.
After all that we went to the hall to listen to ‘Tales of Wales’ say 3 stories of Wales. Miss Parsons came in and thought we had gone MAD !!! Because she saw Leon and Lorcan chasing the man around the hall with swords and moustaches killing everyone :O HAHA
