Pentrecllyncymer was amazing! We went: canoeing, abseiling, rock climbing, made pizzas made sandwiches, bushcraft and we played lots and lots around the building. This trip will bring back lots of memories.

At 9;00 we had a hot chocolate and a biscuit. Then we had a play in our dorm- Tegid.

The first day we did an activity with Jim and Brac the dog. We did rock climbing and abseilng. First we played ‘the floor is lava’ on the wall. It was fun! Abbie and I won the game. Next we had to climb around the whole wall. I fell off once. Next we got the harnesses on and then we got to climb to the top of the climbing wall. We abseiled down.

After tea time we did a night walk, which was cool but a bit scary. We went through the woods which I thought was amazing. It was funny because Summer fell in the mud and she got her bottom muddy!

After the walk we went back to Pentre and then we went to bed.

The next day we had breakfast; cereal and sausages. It was yummy! After that we made sandwiches for lunch- they were really nice! After that we went canoeing. We had to wind the fish and we were going from side to side on the canoe. It was fun. Then we all jumped in! It was soooooooo cold!

After the canoeing we got ready to do bushcraft. Bushcraft is super cool. We first made a den for Bob then we made one for ourselves. We toasted marshmallows on the fire then smores!!

After we made pizzas and did a picture search, then we went to the shop.

The next day we did a walk to the Alwen lake. Next we sadly went back to school on the bus ;( However,  I was happy to come back to see my mum and dad and family and friends. We said goodbye to the team and Gronant and Trelogan.BYE BYE Pentrecllyncymer!!!!

On Wednesday we came back from Pentrellyncymer. We had a great time. We did lots of fun activities and we got to meet these nice dogs called Brac and Mabel. We also got to make our own fire and toast marshmallows in it.

We did kayaking and rock climbing. After we were kayaking we got to jump in the water. It was so cold I couldn’t breathe!

We did rock climbing and bush craft with someone called Jim. We got to make our own pizza. We also got to have lots of sweets and biscuits.

In the morning we had pillow fights and played tag.

On Monday we went on a bus to Pentrllyncymer. I was partners with Lillia. We got off the bus, we got our bags and put our bags down. We were told about safety and a fire drill. We were shown to our room- it was big- and we had a name, Tegid.
We did rock climbing, canoeing, walking, bush crafting. We had hot chocolate, sweets, toasted marshmallows and smors!

At Pentrellyncymer we went rock climbing. The climbing was very fun and new. Then we went canoeing and some of us were jumping in the water. It was fun. We went for a night walk and it was fun and we all did bush craft.
The bush craft was fun; we roasted marsh mallows- yummy! We made a fire and we made a see-saw and a den.

The best part was making pizza and then having fun in our dorms: eating sweets and playing on our beds.

We played a game. We went into groups and found pictures and bought things with our money.

In our dorms I was with Faith, Abbie, Daisy, Lucy, Evie, and Lillia and they were my friends.

If I had to pick one what I liked the most out of all the things we did, I would say everything. It was so so so so so fun! I love it at Pentrellyn.

When we were going back to school, I was excited to see my mum and dad, but I was also going to miss it at Pentrellyn. We were there for two days, I got used to it. I loved everything we did but my favourite favourite one is bush craft and canoeing.

Pentrellyncymer was AMAZING. My favourite part was canoeing and rock climbing. We did other activities like bush craft, mountain walking, eating marshmallows etc.

When I was on the bus to get there my partner was Matteo ;). On the first day of pentre I went wall climbing with the best instructor called Jim. He is as tall as a building ( not literally ) and is super duper kind. He defeated THE PYRAMID OF DOOM on his first try/fourth try.

Abbie and Matteo only got 1/4 way up and had three gos each for the both of the BRAVE LEGENDARY SOLDIERS.

On the second day of Pentre the teacher gave to me two lovely canoes and a trip to a reservoir. We all soaked Mrs Hughes! After, we jumped in the Brenig lake. We also went spear fishing, with our oars, in the middle of the lake.

We did a picture search and made our own pizza. I had pepperoni and Matteo had peppers, pepperoni, pineapple, ham and lots and lots of grated cheese on his pizza. On the third day of Christ… I mean Pentre, the teacher gave to me:  three hurt limbs, two lovely canoes and one trip to a reservoir. How I got those hurt limbs is; I went on a mountain walk on MOUNT DOOM.

Pentrellyncymer was FANTASTIC! We went climbing ,canoeing, learned bush craft and we went on a massive walk.

On the first day we went climbing with Jim- the most fabulous and amazing instructor!  We went to the chapel, which was about 10 seconds away from were we were staying. When we got to the chapel Jim let us play around and get used to using climbing but we were only allowed to climb around the grey area. Then we played some games- they were amazing! After all of the games we put some harnesses on and went to the sky! Well to the ceiling, and as high as we could possibly go. At the end me and Abbie challenged The Wall of DOOM! Or just the really hard wall that you can’t climb, and just as we were quarter the way up we lost our grip! We had three goes each. Abbie was super close but just couldn’t quite get there. Then it was my turn. I had to do this, it was up to me. I had my first go but I just lost grip…. same on my second, but then….. I was halfway up. I thought I could do it but…… oooooohhhhh! I only just slipped off!  It was so annoying, but at least we tried.

After that we went on a night walk- it was lovely . On the second day we woke up, after going to sleep at 1:00 in the morning, and for some of us 3:00 or 2:00!!!!  As for me, I went to sleep at 1:00.

When we woke up we had a lovely breakfast and got on a bus and went canoeing. When the boats were ready, we had a race to a green floating bag of air (a buoy). The boat that I was on beat the other boat and won, then we played some games and loads of the girls screamed because they thought they would fall off. Then we went spear fishing. We didn’t catch any fish but we winded loads of them. We had a race back to the shore and we won again.

After, we jumped in to the freezing cold abominable snowman water -no it was colder. We all jumped in. It was so cold everybody swam as fast as they could to get out. Finally we got out, but then we had to run back in again-  luckily we were all warm.

Finally it was the last day at Pentre and to finish it off we had a long, long, long, long walk but it was really nice. We walked over a ginormous dam and the Alwen river, it was lovely.

When we got back we had a hunt and made pizzas- welcome to Matteo’s pizzeria! I had peppers, pepperoni, ham, pineapple,mozzarella and lots and lots and lots of grated cheese.

I just want to say thanks to all the instructors and our parents and all of our teachers, explicitly Mrs Hughes and Mrs Fisher.

Yesterday we came back from Pentrellyncymer. It was so much fun .

The first day we went rock climbing and there was a fire drill. I just slipped on some shoes. We met two dogs, they were so cute, one was called Mabel and the other was Brack .

After that we had lunch and we had to tidy our bedroom because we had points . Then we had some fish and chips and then we went back into our bedroom. We had a little talk in our rooms . Then we went back into the dinner room and had hot chocolate . Then we went back into our bedroom. We were just talking until 12:30 and of course eating sweets .

The next morning I woke up Abbie , Lucy and I tried waking up Summer . The people who were in my bedroom were me ( Lillia ) Abbie , Evie , Lucy , Daisy , Summer and Faith . Then we went canoeing and we jumped in , IT WAS SO COLD !!

After that we got dressed into some thing warm to go bush craft and we made a den for Bob (Jim’s thumb). And we made a big dens for us .
Then we made a fire and we toasted the marshmallows .

Yesterday (20th September 2017) we came back from Pentrellyncymer and it was so much fun.

We met two extremely cute dogs called Brack and Mabel . On the first day we had a fire drill which was a bit weird because I was in my socks! After that we all had lunch that we had brought from home and found out which dorms we were in. Everybody from Trelawnyd school (only year 5) were in the same room! The boys (Ben, Matteo and Joshua) were in a different room to the girls (Daisy, Evie, Lillia, Lucy, Me, Summer and Faith).

Then we went rock climbing and I was the first to get to the top! At the end we could go on any of the climbing walls with a man called Jim (who owns Brack)so me and one other person went on the hardest one and got about halfway!

Later on we had supper at 5:00 then at 9:00 we had a hot chocolate and some biscuits. We stayed up until one AM on the first night. Summer looked in her notebook to do some doodling and inside it said, “charlie charlie Summer you will see me in your dorm.” It was very creepy but we were all very brave. We think it was someone in our dorm.

The next day we went canoeing and I jumped in the water- it was so cold!Once we were all warm and dry we got dressed and we relaxed for a while (about half a hour). After that we went to do some bush craft skills like: Den building for Bob (Jim’s thumb) and ourselves, fire lighting and marsh mellow toasting! Later on we did a picture search (we found fifteen out of eighteen parts in a book of pictures)and made awesome pizzas! They were so tasty Evie and I worked together and made a very nice pizza that was a roundish sort of oval shape even if it was not that nice. We stayed up until 12:00 that night.

The next day we packed most of our stuff and found out who won the point competition for the cleanest dorms and our dorm came second place! After that we went on a long mountain walk with a guy called Stephan. He showed us lots of places like Alwen reservoir. We also got to have a dairy milk hot chocolate.

After that we went to the gift shop and I got a green glow in the dark snap band, a blue backpack key ring, a blue trail ball and a light brown, rainbow pencil. After that we went to get our bags back but my handle was broken! Mrs Hughes carried my bag for me until we got to the bus. I sat next to my friend (a boy called Ben) until we got back to school. At the end I was so excited.Once we were inside we watched about a half a hour of Star Wars and went to get our bags from the junior cloakroom and went to wait outside for our mums, dads,brothers,sisters or whoever else was waiting for all of us.

We got on the bus at about half past nine in the morning . We were the last school to get on the bus . On the way there I was chatting with my friends . It took us an hour and a half to get there . We arrived there at eleven o’clock . When we got there we put our suitcases in to the corridor and went in to the classroom for a talk about what we need to do . A lady took us to our room.

I was in a room with Lillia, Lucy, Evie, Summer, Faith, Abbi . When we saw our room we got our bags out of the corridor and decided where we were sleeping . I slept on one of the top bunk beds . There were four bunk beds in each room . After we chose our beds we unpacked our bags in to the drawers we had a drawer each .

At one o’clock we went in to the hall to have lunch. In my lunch bag I had: tuna sandwiches, a packet of crisps and a chocolate bar .

After lunch we went climbing. We were told what we had to wear and went in to our room to get it on . We were climbing across the road in the chapel . When we were there we got water proofs for different activities.

At first we played some games without harnesses . When we put the harnesses on I climbed to the top .

At night we had hot chocolate and biscuits. It was nine o’clock . In my room we stayed up until half three in the morning . Before breakfast I got a shower .

For breakfast I had sausages and beans . When we finished breakfast we had some time in our rooms . Then we got some equipment to go canoeing . We got to the lake in a mini bus. We got the canoes out and split in to two teams . My team won the race to the target and we won the race back as well . Canoeing was my favourite activity . I jumped in four times . We went back in the mini bus .

When we got back to the centre we had lunch. I had ham sandwiches and crisps . After lunch we had some room time . We went wood crafting we made fires and made dens .
